The Facility Manager will provide strategic operational oversight for all production and operating facilities in a highly complex manufacturing location. We seek an experienced professional to lead and direct a team to meet organization standards for safety, quality, operational effectiveness and financial performance.
Lead strategic implementation of operational efficiency programs, including ISO programs, Operational Excellence and Human Organizational Performance.
Oversee and direct base and non-base capital investments projects and spending for a global business.
Direct and handle deliverables to ensure customer and product/quality standards are met within specifications.
Develop the most effective risk mitigation plans and regulatory compliance strategies.
Provide strategic leadership, development and talent management activities for direct reports and their organizations, which may include forecasting resource needs, recruiting, hiring, performance management, training and budgeting. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.
Lead a continuous improvement mindset for all operational activities and a culture with safety as a value.
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of eight years of related work experience, five years of supervisory/managerial experience in a highly technical/complex operation
Extensive experience in continuous improvement culture development
Experience in developing and leading teams
Intra-site or Intra-function strategic leadership experience
Leadership experience in both optimization and growth models
