Corporate Maintenance Lead – We are searching for an energetic maintenance project lead with the drive to get the job done right and the willingness to learn. In this highly visible salaried role, you’ll help the entire organization by servicing key equipment, assuring compliance, helping support automation implementation, and training other technicians. You’ll have the opportunity to travel to manufacturing sites at 14 locations across the US and Canada and be a key component to the efficiency of the organization. You’ll also be expected to attend training to improve your personal skill set and to pass along that experience to other key personnel.
Technical or trade school experience a plus
Training and experience in Mechanical and/or Electrical disciplines.
Application of welding, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Maintenance knowledge of crane and hoist equipment, air compressors, pneumatic tools, press brakes, paint booths, saws, and CNC equipment.
Safety specific experience including OSHA and environmental regulations, electrical safety, machine safeguarding, and PPE.
Excellent problem solving abilities and equipment troubleshooting skills
Computer skills to communicate effectively across the organization.
Communication skills and a service mindset.
Experience with computerized maintenance software.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform maintenance services buildings and equipment to reduce the need for outside services.
Provide support knowledge and communicate with facility personnel to solve problems remotely.
Suggest improvements that will improve the longevity of equipment.
Apply and utilize predictive methods to prevent unforeseen breakdowns.
Standardizing maintenance and work methods.
Create maintenance procedures, PM schedules, and spare parts lists.
Report out to management personnel at production sites about work performed to confirm satisfaction.
Utilize a computerized maintenance system to track services.
Create training materials and administer training to support the use of key equipment.
Build safety into every aspect of service, communication, equipment, and processes.
Work with suppliers and contractors to support specialized repairs.
Travel to manufacturing sites across North America will be required approximately 25% of time.
Position will occasionally be required to flex their time to accommodate shutdown or weekend work schedules when equipment is available.
