You will supervise a team of ten legal analysts in our Legal Division’s Mortgage Securities group, working to effectively lead growing workloads and demands on the team, to help the team grow in their knowledge and skills, and to partner with the group’s lawyers and our clients to ensure we continue to provide high-quality service.
**This position can be performed currently from a remote location in the U.S. but will require presence in an office in the future.***
As the manager, you will be a part of our Legal Division’s Process Management Center of Excellence (CoE), and your responsibilities will be fully-integrated into the work of the CoE. The CoE works with subject-matter professionals throughout our Legal Division on a variety of process developments and continuous improvements.
Ensure team members are operating as effectively and efficiently as possible and with the appropriate resources, skill levels and training necessary to be successful
Capitalize on strengths of team members, both for immediate work needs and for training opportunities
Identify individual and team needs, opportunities for continued growth and development of team members, and paths to that growth
5+ years of people management/supervisory experience (paralegal/legal assistant management in a law firm or similar setting is preferred)
Experience leading diverse teams, coaching, mentoring and influencing others
Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of related legal experience (financial services or mortgage industry, law firm or similar paralegal experience is preferred)
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Strong process-driven analytical skills
Ability to handle and successfully complete multiple efforts simultaneously and proficiently, and with limited direction
Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group and at all levels – executives, managers, subject matter experts and administrative personnel
