LOCATION--TRENTON, NJ
 
 
THE OPPORTUNITY:
 

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for planning plant maintenance activities and driving an effective preventive maintenance program to ensure that equipment and facilities are kept in optimum operating conditions.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  •  Effectively plan preventive maintenance activities, including the coordination of department personnel, parts ordering and external services in support
  •  Ensure department utilization of SAP system for preventive maintenance and MRO materials ordering/receipt
  •  Assist in management of storeroom, parts stock levels and accuracy of MRO transactions
  •  Assist Maintenance Manager in daily oversight of maintenance department in support of 24/7 operations
  •  Daily management of Powered Industrial Truck fleet maintenance and repairs by outside vendor
  •  Troubleshoot and solve problems
  •  Maintain/build relationships with vendors and service providers
  •  Support plant Environmental Health and Safety initiatives
  •  Support Quality and Continuous Improvement initiatives
  •  Ability to work non-business hours, nights and weekends as necessary

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  •  College degree preferred, but not required
  •  5 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  •  Experience with mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics and/or electrical/PLC repairs
  •  Demonstrated personnel supervisory skills
  •  Proficiency in MS Office
  •  Proficiency in SAP preferred
