THE OPPORTUNITY:

YOUR ROLE
  • Formulates EMI properties into Thermal Interface and Liquid Gasketing product offerings to create multi-functional products.
  • Uses knowledge of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) solutions to identify new breakthrough products/technologies for the automotive market.
  • Become part of a highly motivated, international cross-functional team in the field of electromagnetic interference
  • Develop product requirements and solutions for current and future automotive applications at global top tier 1 suppliers
  • Influence emerging industry standards for automotive ADAS and Thermal interface material applications
  • Use own profound understanding of the customer needs for EMI solutions and translates these into innovative, best in class products
  • Develops strategic partnerships with suppliers, start-ups and external research organizations to stay current on the latest EMI technology trends and how they could be leveraged into new automotive applications.

YOUR SKILLS
  • PhD (or equivalent experience) in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • A minimum of 7 years industrial experience in formulating EMI composite materials
  • Proven track record of commercialized state-of the-art material solutions for EMI absorption and shielding
  • Understanding of product applications and testing criteria needed for current and future automotive applications
  • Recognized within industry as being an EMI technical expert
  • Demonstrated knowledge of product offerings, industry trends and ongoing research
  • Previous experience in Automotive ADAS applications preferred
  • Strong team spirit, appreciation of an agile working environment and ability to lead by example


Candidate must have:
  • PhD (or equivalent experience) in Materials Science / Chemistry or Chemical Engineering / Electrical Engineering
  • Henkel is looking to target candidates who are currently or have worked for the following companies:  LAIRD, Parker CHOMERICS, Nolato and Schlegel.  7 to 10 years of EMI experience; ADAS Applications for the automotive industry. 
  • Henkel is looking for someone with product development experience. Experience with Interface materials, electrical magnetic materials, and thermal materials
  • The candidate will develop technology roadmap, expand EMI functionality into thermal gap pad, thermal gap fillers and gasket materials.
  • Through existing market knowledge and interaction with the Global Marketing and Business Development initiate new product development project portfolio.  Identify unique opportunities in automotive applications.
  • Candidate will interact with teams across multiple sites, learning extensive technology portfolio and capabilities
