DELTEK COSTPOINT APPLICATION DEVELOPER - REMOTE

The Senior Application Developer supports Deltek Costpoint for 20+ divisions running on over 6 instances. The Application Developer works with business analyst and end users to review business requirements, create supporting design documents and implement the desired solution using Costpoint extensibility, web services or other custom solutions.

 Job Responsibilities:

Translate requirements into a tangible software solution that can be tested and approved by stakeholders.
Serve as a SQL Developer subject matter expert for the Deltek COE.             
Participate in the planning, design, documenting, implementing, testing and support of business systems/applications.
Ability to travel as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems and a minimum of 6 years related development experience or Graduate Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems and a minimum of 4 years related development experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to create applications, tools, or other objects to support custom development, data conversion, integrations and validation rules using SQL, HTML, Java, .NET tools, or other advanced development tools or products.
Experience with Deltek ERP Costpoint applications (Costpoint versions 7.x.x and 8.x).
Extensive experience working with SQL and Web development technologies.
Experience with programming Web Services technologies - REST, SOAP, Java, JSON, API's, and Costpoint Integration Console and extensibility development experience.
Integrate solutions with Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) products using Web service and application programming interface (API) techniques.
Knowledge of industry practices, principles, concepts and standards.
