We are looking for a Sales Operations Analyst to join our successful USIS Sales Operations team. The focus of this position is to provide analytical support to generate sales and management operation reports, metrics, and analysis across all business units. This person will play a major role in generating valuable data assets that will be utilized as one of the decisioning tools to carry our organization forward. 

The Team’s Focus:

The USIS Sales Operations team provides financial and analytical insight into business performance while helping inform and support decision-making processes.  Activities include reporting key business performance indicators; strategic planning; forecasting; variance analysis and the preparation of executive reports and presentations. Members of the team regularly collaborate with and advise top-level executives within the business organization, gaining in-depth exposure to the operation and performance of the business. Associates have strong planning and analytical skills, the ability to interpret and clearly explain data to non-analytical leadership and enjoy ongoing opportunities to support the business and improve business performance.  


  • Complete various ad hoc projects for sales and management in the areas of process improvements, external data research, operational efficiencies, and other metrics and reporting as needed.
  • Extract and analyze data from internal systems to create financial revenue reports of trends, forecasts and variances to identify opportunities for revenue growth initiatives for the business units.
  • Provide support for completion and distribution of the business unit’s annual plan, including quarterly forecasting metrics and analysis.  Coordinates plan transfers as needed. 
  • Updates, maintains, and monitors business unit’s territory to plan reconciliation.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors to identify and resolve sales issues.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of the solutions, services, software and systems. 
  • Deliver analytic insights and recommendations in succinct and compelling presentations for internal customers and an executive audience.
  • Translate business requirements into technical design documents.
  • Review business requirements for technical feasibility and logical defects.
  • Facilitate meetings and presentations, managing the meeting pace and topics covered. Provide summaries and follow-up on outstanding issues and assigned tasks.
  • Explore new analysis, software, and related research techniques and present findings to peers and other groups within TransUnion.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with regional teams within TransUnion.
  • Perform multiple tasks simultaneously and deal with changing requirements and deadlines.


  • BA or BS degree or equivalent. Business, Finance, Accountancy or Information Systems discipline is preferred.
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience collaborating with cross functional units in varying levels within a customer organization.
  • Must have experience working with technical business units and proficiency in learning new technology.
  • Must have advanced skills using Excel formulas, VBA macros, pivot tables, and charts to provide detailed analytical reports. 
  • SQL, ETL, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI or experience is preferred.
  • Financial Planning, Forecasting & Analysis experience is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to perform on a team or with minimal supervision.
  • Must be highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
