Job description
Position Purpose: Manage department staff including hiring, performance management and career development to ensure alignment with defined goals.
 
 Lead exercises and table top tests for key functions and divisions. Lead a team Business Continuity Analysts. Provide guidance and counseling. Develop and maintain all policies and procedures for Business Resiliency. Manage all responses to internal and external audit requests for Business Continuity and Resilience.
Schedule, execute and update all Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) for all elements. Liaise with the various business process owners and gain their concurrence on the BIA. Consolidate reports for leadership and provide updates or recommendations for changes to BIAs and/or the data they contain.
Liaise with business owners and gain their approvals of their BCPs. Ensure business owners meet all regulatory requirements for annual updates and testing of their BCPs.
Maintain all relevant BIA and BCP data in a state of the art business resilience management tool. Devise leadership reports on the health of Business Resiliency program and posture.
Manage all support vendor relationships for Business Resiliency operations
Liaise with Crisis Management teams and provide support during any crisis events.
Liaise with IT Disaster Recovery teams and ensure business requirements are clear and communicated to key IT stakeholders.
Develop and maintain key education and training materials for business continuity procedures and policies.
 
Qualifications:

Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience. 5+ years of related IT experience. Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross functional teams on large scale projects or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work and managing the performance of staff.
Certification in the fields of Business Continuity Planning, Crisis Management, and/or Disaster Recovery preferred: CBCP, CCCE, DRCP, MBCP
