Our client is seeking an Integrated Media Planner to join our corporate marketing team in Bloomington, IL. The person in this role leads media strategy and tactical execution across a range of campaigns to help achieve our national and local business goals. Serves as part of a cross functional team and collaborates with both external agencies and media partners to produce effective media strategies based on consumer and business insights. Assists in defining our KPI’s for media investment as well as provides mid-campaign performance analysis and optimization recommendations.
  • Executes digital media campaigns on multiple platforms.
  • Directs implementation of advertising buys, sends appropriate assets to publishers or agency partners. 
  • Monitors campaigns throughout entire lifecycle – resolving performance issues. Tracks results, optimizes and reports to campaign managers and management.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Has knowledge supporting or experience executing some of the following tactics: paid social marketing, digital display advertising, video advertising, search engine marketing, programmatic platforms, custom content partnerships, sponsorships, and influencer marketing campaigns. Experience with tools such as DMP’s and marketing automation a plus.
  • Able to write media briefs and translate business goals into media KPI’s.
  • Comfortable supporting implementation of tagging to facilitate reporting and optimization. Tests landing pages and digital flows for QA purposes as well as provides optimization suggestions. Web analytics experience a plus.
  • Produces post-campaign summaries with key learning to inform future campaign planning and strategy.
  • Acts as a liaison with advertising agencies, outside management firms and promotional partners.
  • Collaborates well within a cross functional team in areas such as PR, marketing operations, event execution, social marketing, consumer insights, creative development, digital marketing, and compliance as examples.
  • Works closely with the creative resources team to keep assets aligned to the corporate brand standards. In addition, provides feedback on creative performance and testing.
  • Communicates with all levels of management at corporate and regional offices to support marketing communication strategies and projects.
  • A mix of digital and traditional background is ideal although an emphasis will be placed on digital marketing experience.
Required Qualifications:
  • Typically requires:
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of media marketing, advertising or related experience OR,
  • Master’s degree and no experience OR,
  • At least 4years of media marketing, advertising or related experience.
