Responsible for supervising Quality Engineers, Quality Inspection personnel in Manufacturing, Tooling Quality, and Calibration
• Hire, Train, Manage & Develop Quality personnel as required
• Strong leadership and focus for ACE, FOD, Quality, EH&S and continuous improvement initiatives
• Establish work schedules, allocate work and assignments while taking into account customer requirements, resource availability, and other priorities
• Support compliance to our Quality Management System, EEP’s and AS9100
• Support audit preparation activities (pre-work, checklists, meetings etc.) within VS
• Communicate internal and external Quality audits to Leadership team
• Look for trends in repeat errors, FPY ,Delivered Quality, etc. and help determin corrective action
• Assist VS Leadership with the appropriate and timely resolution of corrective action
• Lead/Co-Lead CV Operations QCAB Meetings
• Report CAB metrics for weekly Health Measures Meeting
• Schedule and conduct Quality Clinic DIVEs
• Update Quality Metrics for PDPR presentations
• Ensure that 5S responsibilities are defined and implemented for your areas of responsibility
• Manage CV Ops AMQAS Plan and Surveillance is kept-up to date
• Support ACE and Standard Factory Initiatives
• Determine appropriate Skills & Training for Clinic Team & conduct training as appropriate; maintain Quality Clinic Training Matrix/Records. Develop SPI’s for Key Tasks and Activities.
• Ensure full involvement in ACE & Standard Factory initiatives – utilize ACE tools to improve production, performance, and reduce scrap, rework, and repair.
• Control quality, productivity and process flow to meet MRP requirements while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
• Perform other duties as required

• BA/BS degree in an engineering discipline with 4 - 7 years experience

• Minimum of 4 years experience ensuring quality, technical and regulatory compliance in a AS9100/ISO9001/Nadcap certified manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to either formally or informally lead teams of individuals with diverse skill sets to achieve these compliance requirements.
• Must have a working knowledge of metal forming and finishing processes.
• Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written), work and relate with people at all levels of the organization and be self-sufficient.
• Good demonstrated knowledge of Quality principles
• Strong communication & presentation skills both up and down the organization
• Good analytical and problem solving skills with a focus on results (driving to root cause).
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem solving, analytical, prioritization and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work with all levels of management
• Working knowledge of continuous improvement principles (e.g. lean manufacturing, ACE, QCPC).
• Proven ability in software applications including SAP, Minitab, Teamcenter, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Vizio.
• Due to ITAR restrictions, must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder

Preferred Skills:
ASQ or Six Sigma Certifications
QMS and Nadcap Auditing Experience
