Responsible for direct patient care activities for inpatient and outpatient cancer and palliative care patients. Provides consultative, on-call, and weekend coverage for oncology and palliative care services. Exhibits core values of collaboration, compassion, and teamwork and act as a role model by showing respect for others, achieving results and being a good team player.

Education/Certifications: * Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, ARNP program. * ARNP Certification. * Current DEA License.  * Current CPR and ACLS certifications required. Experience and/or Training: * Demonstrated competence in area of expertise.

License / Certification:  Current Maryland or Compact State Nurse Practitioner License Preferred: Palliative Care and/or Advanced Oncology Nurse certification
Must have active clinical experience ( 3-5 years)  working as a NP.
Maintains current knowledge and skills with continuing education. * Must meet all training requirements.  Must be willing to take Call which may at times require NP to be onsite.
