Sales & Marketing Manager-Buoy

Responsible for driving sales growth for the division. Works with Division Manager to develop and execute sales and marketing plans and programs that align with buoy growth strategies. Assists in sales, bids, customer service, and reporting as required. 
• Become market expert in buoy channel by developing data on market size, customer channels, competitors, product offerings and go-to-market strategies. Memorialize/document market knowledge of existing staff.
• Develop and implement Print and web strategies that are tailored to the buoy market and specific channel segments where appropriate. This includes development of catalog, and content for web site.
• Work with manager to develop and execute any relevant promotional campaigns including digital and print.
• Assist manager in developing yearly sales and marketing budget and strategic plan including specific investments and ROI.
• Work with manager to refine pricing strategy and adjust yearly pricing for customers and bids.
• Work with manager to determine trade show participation and attend as required to promote business and obtain leads.
• Assist manager with product management including:
- Discontinuing products that are not adding value or positive net margin contribution.
- Identifying opportunities for new products that fill competitive gaps, or provide innovative solutions to customer problems.
• Answer customer phone calls, process sales, participate in bid development where required.
• Develop analytics and reporting where required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• Four-Year college degree, business preferred
• 5+ years relevant business experience
• Experience working for a Manufacturing Organization preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
