Job Summary: The position is responsible for performing and/or managing account reconciliations, journal entries, financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, regulatory reporting, SOX compliance and other business unit or Parent Company requirements.

Essential Job Duties:
•Review and/or approve general ledger account reconciliations
•Manage month-end reconciliation process between Oracle sub-ledger and parent company general ledger
•Analyze and determine monthly accruals
•Prepare adjusting journal entries or other monthly journal entries
•Prepare financial statements
•Manage and review all high risk suspense accounts as required by parent company
•Adhere to parent company requirements regarding aging of outstanding items and all other requirements included in policies and procedures
•Preparing financial, and regulatory reports
•Prepare and load budgets and forecasts

They are accoun for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required/Desired:
•A BS/BA degree or higher in accounting
•Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
•CPA-Certified Public Accountant designation

4+ years accounting experience specifically with account reconciliations, journal entries, financial statement preparation, budgets, SOX, regulatory reporting.
•1+ years of Oracle Financials experience
•1+ years of Essbase experience
•Excellent knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
•1+ years of Rail Industry Experience
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
