The position will support various analytical efforts in the finance and accounting functions. This is a high profile position that will interface with senior leaders in a number of functional areas including Structured Products, Sales, Market Intelligence, Mechanical, Credit & Compliance, and Operations.

Strong analytical skills are essential with an ability to manage multiple projects and accomplish key tasks within established deadlines. Work day will extend beyond traditional business hours as needed. Some business travel may be required. The position is located in Rosemont, IL.

Essential Job Duties:
•Incumbent will develop financial analysis and reporting in support of the day-to-day business activities. Will also include developing ad hoc business analysis for senior managers as requested
•Incumbent is responsible for developing and preparing Investment Committee materials to support new business opportunities
•Incumbent is responsible for analyzing the impact of acquisitions, dispositions, and new leasing opportunities to income statement and projected key performance indicators
•Incumbent is responsible for supporting JV management team including producing partner and lender presentations, budgeting and supporting external debt reporting requirements
•Incumbent is responsible for presenting all analysis in an organized and succinct manner providing full support for conclusions and recommendations made
•Incumbent will be an essential piece of a broader team and will work closely with other areas of the company

There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

5+ years general leasing/lending experience with preference for operating lease experience
Valuation / financial modeling skills
7-10 Years Experience
Rail Experience preferred
Proven proficiency in working with/developing financial models and analyzing financial and business metrics
Solid understanding of accounting concepts such as depreciation, amortization, deferred taxes, effective interest, capital leases and operating leases
Proven track record of professional growth
Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
