Position Summary:

Responsible for the definition, development and implementation of standardized Best Practices in Supply Chain core functions that leverage existing systems and maximize efficiencies. Serve as the point of contact for the user community supporting issue validation and scoping. Facilitate communication between users and IT organization through to issue resolution.Employees in this position must be competent to work independently at the highest level on all phases of business process design and analysis. An employee regularly works under deadlines with heavy workloads and high visibility. The successful individual must be able to manage relationships and change within a fast paced and constantly changing environment.   Major Duties and Responsibilities:-Hands-On oversight of the operations for production environments and services by identifying, resolving and/or escalating issues
-Identifies and takes steps to prevent potential situations that could result in loss of company assets
-Provide off hour support as necessary for both East and West Coast operations
-Plan and execute analysis and implementation of future functionality usage within the WMOS product in concert with business users and IT members
-Provide single point of contact for business to request triage and troubleshooting for its processes in the short term
-Documentation and monitoring of business processes effectiveness
-System issue validation and scope definition
-Participate in functional portion of system issue resolution
-Ability to manage projects
-Basic knowledge of SQL
-Knowledge of EIS interface
-Dematic MHE interfacing
-Support both East and West Coast operations

BA/BS with a major in, Business, Logistics, engineering or a closely related field or (3-5 years in lieu of degree) with a progressive track record in distribution, logistics and /or manufacturing environment. Knowledge of Retail WMS (Manhattan Open System) understanding of modification specs either writing or reviewing, Excel, Word, expert oracle SQL

-2+years experience with Manhattan Systems Warehouse Management Open System

Skills and Abilities:
-Basic knowledge of SQL
-Good communications skills, including written and verbal skills
-Problem solving skills
-Ability to work independently with minimal direction toward project objectives
-Ability to work successfully as the member of a cross-functional team
-Ability to solicit information and assistance from contributors throughout the organization
-Demonstrates consistent commitment and initiative toward producing business solutions for the company
-Ability to learn relevant Manhattan WMS technologies
-Ability to travel to support West coast operations
