US IMMUNOLOGY CONTROLLER

Missions and objectives:
- Partner with various business partner cost center owners across RA, Dermatology and Asthma teams to confirm actual project spend, reforecast projects and determine monthly actual vs plan variances
- Lead the quarterly forecasts and annual budget processes including creation of templates, uploading plans into TM1 and Essbase, validating data, generating reports and creating PowerPoint slides for both internal costs as well as full Alliance plans for the US RA, Dermatology and Asthma businesses
- Own end to end month end close process including but not limited to communication to business partners on calendar, deadlines and deliverables, obtaining appropriate information from the business and adhering to deadlines and deliverables to the Corporate FP&A Team, Accounting and Shared Service Team
- Generate month end close reports including P&Ls, OpEx reports by cost center, variance analysis and tactical detail project expense reports both internally and across the Alliance
- Maintain US headcount reporting, reconcile vacancies, approve, track and reconcile costs associated with hiring
- Document and track Alliance related HC
- Expert on financial systems including SAP, TM1 and Procurement system owning maintenance of cost center hierarchies, creation of reports and data integrity across systems
- Prepare and post month end journal entries in accordance with Accounting Policies and Procedures
- Responsible for compiling and submitting monthly accruals, actual performance, forecasts and budgets to support the Alliance Financial Reporting
- Partner with US Medical Finance team to understand performance vs plan, forecast and impact to brand P&L for respective businesses both internally and across the Alliance
- Partner with US Sales Operations team on field incentive compensation and contest plans ensuring expenses are properly reported
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accrual accounts
- Provide assistance to the US Finance Team on a variety of complex, cross-functional, ad hoc projects and requests as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 - 8 years business finance experience, with emphasis on financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and month end close
- Industry related experience a plus
- BS in Accounting/Finance required; CPA or MBA a plus
- Strong accounting skills; Internal Controls
- Knowledge of Hyperion, TM1 Cognos, SAP and Essbase preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and Power-Point required
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment and within complex organization
